Our 5 year old granddaughter wanted a campfire party for her birthday so I purchased this product to help contain the fire and to help keep the children away from the flames.
Assembly was very easy. The 4 arcs that bolt together are very sturdy and we plan to leave it in place year-round. We have used it only once so far. I think that the bolts and nuts will need replacing with stainless steel harware sometime.
Some bricks left over from another project were placed as pavers to provide a base for the fire area and ring. Six 8 foot long logs cut from tree trunks made our seating around the fire. That made it perfect to wind-up the party with s'mores, campfire songs and ghost stories.
Almost all of the parents complimented us on the fire ring.

Couldn't really ask for anything more for the money. I place mine atop a ring of decorative bricks I purchased from the local lawn care store. Looks great, and does the job just fine!

I bought this cuz we have soapy trees we are always burning branches. We had one of those fire bowls w lid that everyone has but it's been used south looks like a warped rusted pile of metal. I made a circle with little retaining wall paver blocks and then sat this on top. Looks amazing and way better looking! Its a good size ring and I love the stars

I chose it for the size & it 'seemed' sturdy.
I truly expected it to be flimsy & hoped for the best. It is actually quite thick & sturdy. Cannot beat it for the price I paid. Love this type because it is lower maintenance than the portable ones & is much larger.
Family has made s'mores & hot dogs already. May get adventurous & get a grill top for it.

I bought this campfire ring because I liked the night sky design. I was pleased to find that it is easy to assemble and is made of a heavy enough gauge of steel to last for years. I built a base for the ring from landscape stone and have received several compliments on the uniqueness of the our campfire setup, and yes the sky design looks great lit up! I recommend this product for it's design, durability and price.

Nicely made - it's heavy enough gauge steel to keep it from bending but not too heavy to move if necessary. We use ours at campgrounds that don't have their own fire rings. We replaced the included nuts and bolts with stainless steel bolts and wing nuts to make assembly/disassembly easier although there is nothing wrong with the included hardware. It's slightly larger than I would have liked - 3' in diameter - but there is nothing comparably-made that is smaller. After having several very hot fires in it there is no noticeable damage to the paint or metal - it should last us many years. I am well pleased with it.

I ordered this after receiving a Amazon gift card as a gift. I didn't seek it out, but found it perusing around on the site and thought it looked cool so I took a chance. We always have backyard campfires over an old tree stump, and sometimes if they get a little too big I keep the water hose handy to keep it contained. But that problem was solved when we got the fire ring. We love it! It contains the fire and looks really cool with the moon and star cutouts. Our friends always compliment us on it and ask where we got it. It's really heavy duty too, and the material is anti-rust (we haven't seen a speck of rust and it's been sitting in the elements for several months). It's fairly priced, looks cool, and very practical. Plus it was really easy to put together. A definite must have for any backyard fire! Makes things a LOT more safe too.

Nifty and cheap. I would like a bubble screen accessory so that I can have the fire going whilst covered with a mesh screen (safety), although it isnt necessary. The nuts or hardware should have been rust proof...good buy and satisifed overall
