This fit pit has been great. We have a fire nearly every evening in it - I lay the wood during the day and then after dark, we take a cup of coffee or a glass of wine outside, light the fire and relax from the hectic schedule of the day's activities.
We love the way the fire wraps around and through the mesh as the fire is young, and then the shadows and small flames as the fire is maturing. If you want a fire pit that you can enjoy watching the fire through all of its stages - this is a great pit.
We love it and plan to buy another for a gift.
