This 16oz Concentrate will make 6 gallons of OMRI Listed® insecticidal soap to eliminate soft-bodied insects. One bottle makes the equivalent of 24 Ready to Use bottles!
WOW, that is a HUGE value.
The ability to use this organic insecticidal soap in your home and in your lawn or garden makes it the most economical and convenient solution to pest annoyances available on the market!
The Safer® Brand insect killing soap utilizes the power of potassium salts of fatty acids (insecticidal soap). The potassium salts weaken the insect's waxy protective outer shell. Apply every 7-10 days when insects are present or as needed to prevent further damage.
Safer® Brand Insect Killing Soap is highly preferable to chemical pesticides, which possess toxins that can kill beneficial insects and cause long-term detrimental effects on the environment. Another negative effect of chemical pesticides is the fact that insects can possibly build up a resistance to the chemicals in the pesticides.
Unlike traditional synthetic chemicals, Safer® Brand Insect Killing Soap is safe to use around children and pets. It breaks down into their natural elements within 7-10 days, leaving no residual impact on the environment.
OMRI Listed® and compliant for use in organic gardening. Using insecticidal soap solutions in your garden provides you with effective aphid control, mealybug control and an overall pest free organic garden.

Have had lots of squash bugs over the last few years sucking the life out of my squash and other plants. This stuff really kills them after you spray them with it. I didn't want to use poison so tried Safer after I read this particular one killed squash bugs and it does!!

This product works much better than homemade versions, and is far more affordable than buying premixed. However, it would be nice if they made the cap as a predetermined measure to make mixing small batches easier.

I have been using insecticidal soaps for mites, scale, and other leaf eating pests. It works well but you have to keep applying and be steadfast about it. However, the upside is its safe for you, your pets, and children.

This product does a good job of eliminating aphids from my roses and fruit trees, and it's much better for people and the environment than traditional pesticides.

Customer service did not know any specific tips for application on lawn. Just followed directions for outdoor use. Misted the lawn first at dusk, then sprayed. White flies were pretty much eradicated with a few applications, but noticed that lawn turned orange/yellow in spots. Called customer service fro help. Got none. Also wish dispensing cup had measurement/concentration marks.
RESPONSE FROM SAFERBRAND

Thank you for your online review for the Safer® Brand Insect Killing Soap. We appreciate your feedback and are happy to see that we were able to help you eliminate your whitefly problem. However we are not happy to see the negative effects on your lawn.
There are most likely 1 of 2 explanations for this occurrence. One is the significant heatwave that most of the country has experienced. This causes your lawn to be warmer than usual and when you apply this product, it can dry out your lawn if exposed in either direct sunlight or a lawn that has experienced strong heat all day long. If this is the case your lawn will recover. The second could be over application due to the sprayer or other application device used. Perhaps the settings were off and it applied too much product.
