I've tried for years to stop squirrels from digging up my potted plants! I'm a master gardener so I have upwards of 50 plants on my deck each year. The squirrels were repelled as soon as I put this product out. I put it saucers around my deck so I can keep it dry when I water. It seems to last longer that way without any reapplication. I feel my many years of battle with the squirrels is all but over! Thank you Critter Ridder!

This stuff works. We thought we had AN animal below our deck, when we moved in. 30 min after applying it around the perimeter, SIX (6!) full grown raccoons exited the deck, marching in a row, toward the back of our property. It was awesome!

I love animals, but I don't want them eating my expensive plants and bulbs. This product WORKS! After about 2 months I start seeing dug up areas and then I realize that I haven't reapplied in a LONG time, and as soon as I put it out again, the invasions stop.

I planted several expensive oriental lily bulbs this Fall, and decided to try using "Critter Ridder" to protect them from foraging squirrels. After planting the bulbs, I sprinkled the repellant over the newly planted sites. That was a week ago. I inspected the areas today (11/20), and saw no evidence of digging.
Great product, and very cost-effective.

It is the only thing that helps deter groundhogs. I sprinkle it along the perimeter fence where they dig under and around the plants they seem to prefer (petunias, bachelor buttons, mums). You do need to refresh it every 3-4 weeks, but that it is worth it.

  Critter Ridder vs. Racoons March 07, 2010

I am a volunteer working with the nesting Loggerhead turtles on Harbor Island, SC. We had a large racoon invasion problem on our nesting beach last summer. The racoons destroyed one too many nests and I looked to granular Critter Ridder for a possible solution to the problem. We sprinkled Critter Ridder on and around the nests (we had 26 nests last season). The granuals were still visable after many rain storms throughout the summer and it significantly decreased the racoon invasions of the nests.
I can safely say that Critter Ridder deterred the invasions and we will be using it again this turtle season. Thank you, Critter Ridder

This worked great. Neighbors have cats who loved using our
landscaping for litter boxes. While this was effective, there was not ONE area where they moved mulch and dug out a potty! We knew right away when we had to reapply. Keeps us on good terms with our neighbors.

We are on the fourth repellent for keeping our dog from eating rocks, tried sprays then my husband found Critter Ritter and figured we finally found the right one. Guess what instead of going away after showing her the area, she goes back and eats or licks the pepper granuals! Calling vet to see if reason for this.

In some cases you want to allow time to condition a dog not to return to an area treated with repellent. The spiciness of the ingredients should create an unpleasent experience for your dog, eventually causing him her to associate it with the rocks. But please keep in mind each animal has its own tastes. Critter Ridder® has been proven to deter dogs, but depending on the area and animal the results may vary.   We would like to understand your situation more so we can help you out.
