  Rescued Malnourished Rabbit with Havahart Trap February 20, 2011

A domestic rabbit was abandoned in a local park and the rabbit rescue that I volunteer for was contacted about it. Several volunteers attempted to rescue the rabbit on different occasions, but were unsuccessful. We finally placed a Havahart Live Trap near the overgrown area the rabbit was most frequently seen disappearing into, placing apples and bananas inside of it. The trap was monitored and in just a few hours, we caught the little malnourished rabbit and took her to the safety of the rabbit sanctuary.
