A classic among squirrel proof feeders, this one has ports that close under a squirrel’s weight, preventing the squirrel from raiding the seed supply. Includes FREE 23” metal hook.
The Perky-Pet® Squirrel-Be-Gone® Wild Bird Feeder features six feeding ports, U-shaped perches and a 2 lb. seed capacity. The feeding ports have sturdy metal perches that allow birds to feed comfortably but, when the squirrels perch on them, their weight causes the entire metal casing to slip down, completely blocking the feeding ports and their access to the seed.
The interior seed tower is surrounded by rustic metalwork.
The six perch/feeding station set-up, coupled with the anti-squirrel technology makes this feeder one of the most economical and convenient squirrel proof feeders on the market! Comes fully assembled.
Remember to clean your squirrel proof feeders once every two weeks with a mild soap and water solution.
The Perky-Pet® 23” Metal Hook holds feeders, planters, etc, up to 35 lbs. The garden green finish on this bird feeder hanger is rust resistant and will provide years of enjoyment for you and the wild birds that flock to the hanging feeders in your yard.
The sturdy, easy-to-use design will not harm your tree branches.

I have been buying these feeders for several years now, back to when they were branded under the Audobon logo. They dont last forever, but that is not expected. I do want to congratulate you on recent improvements that effectively eliminate the problems I have read of and experienced myself. I had attached additional metal across the gaps when the leaves didn't reach down far enough, and had even added metal clips over the feeder thresholds to deter knawing. Now the new models have all this fixed. Thanks so much for your attention to improving this product.
The only remaining issue is that baby squirrels are not heavy enough to drop the screen....but then who can refuse a baby squirrel? A few hundred seeds later they have grown and have to give up this dinner source.

It is interesting to watch a squirrel climb the skinny pole, go across to the hangar and go untop of the feeder. BING the spring lowers the sides, squirrel investigates and then hops off. They have excellent memories, it does not try again. They just feed off the ground from the birds feasts.
