I have had my 20 oriole feeders for about 10 years now. I love them. I am just now buying replacement bee guards, since only some of the original ones have cracked. I have tried other feeders, but they have only lasted a year or two. I have dropped the feeder from my second story balcony, and it has not broken.

The bottom does not screw on it is just like it is stripped. I have also gone to the store and tried the ones in the store and they are all the same. The juice leaks out.

This oriole feeder is absolutely beautiful, this is why I ordered it, however after filling it & placing it in my yard, the orioles would land on the perch & they couldn't drink. Orioles are too big for the length of the perch that comes with it. It is too close to the ports for them to drink. The perch needs to be extended out farther away from the ports so the orioles can drink without being too close.

The orioles will not eat from this feeder. They try but seem to be unable to. My friend has the same problem.
