  Great Product only with the bee guards July 13, 2012

I've checked Fleet Farm and Ace Hardware and both only offer the model 251 feeder and is labeled as a Oriole feeder which doesn't included the bee guards. This used to be marketed as a humming bird and oriole feeder and included the bee guards. This is what I'm looking for. This feeder without bee guards is useless to me. Most of the traffic we see is humming birds. I had the plastic holding tank break and tried a conventional glass humming bird feeder. The yellow jackets and wasps were so bad we couldn't sit on the deck. I'm glad to see the bee guard parts available on your website and will not buy this product without bee guards. I think your marketing folks missed the boat making this only an Oriole only feeder. I bought one only to get a plastic nector container, using the base
already had. I would have bought three feeders if they had the bee guards.

We do have several oriole feeders with bee guards.   Excellent Oriole feeder April 16, 2010

The model 252 is the one to use if you have bees. The bee guards are a must. I have kept two of these feeders up during the last 4 Oriole seasons (late April to late August) here in CA. The Orioles love them. After the chicks fledge, the whole family comes to the feeder.
