I looked all over for a feeder like one I had seen at my mothers. This one is close to it with the different levels. The birds seem to love it and go from boat to boat. We didn't have to color the water red, the bottom of the boats were enough to attract the hummingbirds. We are enjoying watching three different kinds of birds at the feeder each day.
