Average Height & Weight

The Schnoodle is considered a SMALL dog based on the average height and weight.

 

Males – Height: 8 to 12 inches; 20 to 26 inches for Giant Schnoodles.

Weight: 7 to 16 pounds; 65 to 90 pounds for Giant Schnoodles.

Females – Height: 8 to 12 inches; 20 to 26 inches for Giant Schnoodles.

Weight: 7 to 16 pounds; 65 to 90 pounds for Giant Schnoodles.

Typical Coloring

Schnoodles are commonly black, white, brown, gray and apricot. They can also be multi-colored.

 

 

 

Temperament

Schnoodles are the product of a Poodle and Schnauzer mix, and as such they have inherited characteristics from both their parents. Schnoodles are intelligent, affectionate and very devoted. They have strong wills and can be protective of their owners. They are often top of their classes at obedience school.

 

 

 

Activity Level

Schnoodles are an active breed that craves exercise. They love to run and jump, and they require a great deal of daily exercise.

Known Breed-Related Health Issues

The most common health concerns for Schnoodles include mild allergies, epilepsy and hip dysplasia. Schnoodles also have a tendency to grow a lot of hair in their inner ears, which must be removed by a groomer or doctor to prevent ear infections.

Schnoodles have a medium tolerance for hot and cold climates.
