Temperament

Pugs have an outsized confidence and often act as comic relief with their curious, stubborn natures. They are friendly but often headstrong. They are also loving and constantly seeking the approval of their owners.

Activity Level

Pugs aren’t well-suited to intense bouts of exercise. They have a tendency to wheeze and don’t catch their breath easily, and they prefer a slow walk or a lazy game of fetch to intense activity.
